Low level Laser Therapy is non-invasive, painless and drug free.
The Laser is applied to various acupuncture points on the body (the gates through which the energy flows). Low level laser is currently under investigation in the U.S. to see if it helps to alleviate the cravings and withdrawal symptoms normally associated with nicotine addiction, making it easier to achieve your goal of becoming a non-smoker.
This technique has been utilized with success throughout Canada and Europe for decades.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our friendly staff. You will be given a pre-treatment questionnaire to help us understand your personal needs and goals all of which will assist us in developing your individualized treatment plan. This brief questionnaire encompasses your smoking habits and triggers and is an integral part of the overall program at Meridian Laser. You will receive information about our clinical research trial and have an opportunity to ask questions about the program.
This counseling occurs prior to the Laser session. The non-invasive laser session takes approximately 30 minutes and the overall visit is about one hour. The laser is applied to the meridian points on the hands, ears, legs and face.
Your success is very important to us and our support does not end the day of your session. There will be a follow up with you at 48 hours, one week, one month, three months.
